What inspires you?
There are a lot of things that inspire me.
Flowers. Flowers inspire me. I love looking at the minute details in flowers. I’ll just sit there and stare at them and marvel at the creativity of my Creator. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen several flowers lately. I can’t even take credit for the flowers in my yard. Most of them are remnants of the previous homeowner. I’ve just pulled weeds and dug out the overgrown ones. I don’t know what most of them are…but they are beautiful.
People inspire me. To be clear, not every person inspires me, but some especially do. I have entrepreneur friends that make me want to be a better business person. I have creative friends that inspire me to try new things creatively. I have people that inspire me to be more fit. My husband inspires me and encourages me to grow and stretch myself. I see my kids try new things (yes, with a little encouragement sometimes), and it makes me feel bolder to go a try new things myself.
My surroundings. That may be my fixer upper of a house, or it may be the beautiful outdoors of Colorado. Check out the pictures to the right. We went for a drive today in the mountains…just because we can. The mountains of Colorado never get old. Never. I’ve lived here for almost 30 years now, and I still love it. I came home with pictures of flowers that I want to paint. I saw a gorgeous home built on top of a hill overlooking 3 sets of mountain ranges and a marshy meadow. I don’t want to live that far out all the time, but I’d sure like to have a retreat there.
You. You inspire me. My clients and clients that are yet to be. I see your spaces and the challenges you present me with and it inspires me to push myself and flex my creative muscles. I love it!
What inspires you? Maybe you aren’t feeling inspired at all. That’s okay. That’s what I’m here for. If you’re ready to get started, go here to contact me. Maybe you just need a consult to get some ideas. I can do that. Maybe you don’t want to do any of the work and just want it to be beautiful. I can to that, too. Perhaps you aren’t ready to commit to a full wall of faux painting. I also do work on canvas. You just have to ask.
Make it a beautiful day, friends.
